Course Info

You wouldn’t think that adjacent to a master-planned community you would find beautiful winding trails and large, blue lakes. Just a stone’s throw away from the Falls at Imperial Oaks is several acres of wooded land and tranquil terrain once used for sand and gravel mining. Left behind are the deep pits, which filled with water to create this scenic area.

All types of wildlife can be seen in and around the lakes. This tucked-away, serene area is the perfect setting for an adventure.

The 5 mile course will be clearly marked and fuel stations will be available along the course (Start/Finish, 2-mile, 4-mile). Water and sports drinks will be provided. Medical support will be provided by St. Lukes of the Woodlands.

Please note: Use of the property hosting this event is being facilitated through a joint agreement with private landowners. Therefore, use is restricted to the event on February 13, 2010 and the preparations leading up to it by authorized personnel. Accessing property without prior approval or authorization will be considered trespassing.

REFUNDS There will be no refunds offered for this event, including weather-related cancellations. WEATHER Due to the nature of the trail, inclement weather could create hazardous running conditions. If weather prevents the event from occurring, the organizers will post an update on this website no later than 4:00 am on raceday. The event will not be rescheduled should this occur. RESTRICTIONS All runners will be required to wear a bib. Due to the nature of the course, no wheeled equipment (including bicycles, wagons, strollers, jogging strollers, roller skates, rollerblades, etc.) will be permitted. Birnham Woods Elementary School 31150 Birnham Woods Drive Spring, Texas 77386 Take I-45 to Rayford Rd./Sawdust Rd. Turn east on Rayford Rd. Turn left on Imperial Oaks Blvd. Turn right on Northridge Forest. Continue on Northridge Forest into the Falls of Imperial Oaks. Northridge Forest dead ends at Birnham Woods Drive. Turn right onto Birnham Woods. Go one block. The school is located on the left hand side.
